The U.S. military, which includes the National Guard, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) are not the same.
The National Guard knows the importance of lawful authority, clear missions, and the line between military and civilian life. They are easily identifiable. They do not cover their faces and they wear their names on their uniforms, over their hearts.
The National Guard are your neighbors. They are members of your community. When deployed, they are there to help the community, not harm them.
