Veterans Call on Congress to Reject Disability Benefit Cuts in the Take Care of America’s Veterans Act
Unite for Veterans (U4V) is calling on Congress to reject the disability compensation provisions in the Take Care of America's Veterans Act (H.R. 9237), which would permanently eliminate VA disability ratings for tinnitus and cut compensation for most veterans with sleep apnea — stripping earned benefits from future claimants to generate an estimated $15–20 billion in cuts.
One Year Later, the Work Continues
The Unite for Veterans Coalition came together on the anniversary of D-Day, 2025, to oppose cuts to the Department of Veterans Affairs, defend the jobs of veterans serving in the federal workforce, and stand for the American values those in uniform swore to protect. This latest executive order directs the government to create a national voter eligibility list puts that right at risk.

Veterans and Military Families Win as VA Rescinds Harmful Rule
Today’s decision by The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to rescind their recent rule on disability ratings is a clear victory for veterans, military families, and everyone who believes that those who served this country deserve a VA that works for them—not against them.
Veterans Alarmed By Sudden Change to Disability Rating Process
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) made changes to how the VA will issue disability ratings. The changes mean that disability ratings will now be based on how a veteran manages their disability with medication or treatment, without accounting for how severe it would be without that relief. This radical change will negatively impact tens of thousands of veterans.
